Who is Donald Simone?

Donald Simone is a singer-songwriter with a unique facility for taking the English language and making it do the strangest things. He was a founder member of the nearly seminal Sheffield band The Urban Hooligans who got quite a warm round of applause when they played at the inaugural Nottyfest in 2005. His songs have brought pleasure to literally tens of people and he has been described as 'absolutely brilliant' by his mother who went on to say 'you should record those songs, you really should. They're as good if not better than all those others on the radio, and I'm not just saying that because I'm your mum'.

He is currently recording his first album, provisionally titled 'Songs About Love, Hate and Utter Indifference' in his spare room.
